Development

You can support the Worthington Educational Foundation and its mission by contributing your time, talents and financial resources.

Time

You can contribute your time by serving on our Board of Trustees. The Board oversees all activities of the Foundation and is responsible for:

  1. prudent management of the Foundation’s assets
  2. selecting worthy projects to fund
  1. developing additional financial resources to further its mission

You will work with and get to know leaders in the Worthington School community who support our schools.

Talents

You can contribute your talents by volunteering to perform tasks on behalf of the Foundation. Such tasks could include assisting with the production of newsletters and promotional materials and attending a community function to promote the work of the Foundation.

Financial Resources

You can contribute your financial resources. The Foundation’s grants directly reflect the donations received. The Foundation accepts cash and gifts of marketable securities. Such gifts can be made either during your lifetime or through bequests at death. The Foundation currently holds many such gifts in separate donor advised funds created in memory of a loved one in the Worthington Public Schools Community. Examples include the Gary Smith Fund and the Nichols/Hopper Fund.
